Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

Welcome to Smart ATS CV (smartatscv.com). Your privacy is critically important to us. This policy outlines the types of information we collect, how it is used, and how we safeguard your data.

1. Information You Provide (Resume Data)

Smart ATS CV is a client-side tool. Any personal information you enter (name, contact details, work history, education) is processed locally in your browser. We do not store, collect, or share your resume content on any server.

2. Log Files & Analytics

Like many websites, smartatscv.com may use log files that record visitors, which is standard practice for hosting companies. The information includes IP addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.

3. Google AdSense & Cookies

Google is a third-party vendor on our site. It uses cookies to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to websites.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message may appear asking you to accept, reject or manage cookies for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Privacy Policies

This Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. We advise you to consult their respective privacy policies for more detailed information.

5. Other Third-Party Services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address and basic browser information when the page loads. If you use the share buttons or click links to services such as WhatsApp or LinkedIn, those services' own privacy policies apply.

6. Optional Manual Resume Review Service

If you choose to request our paid manual resume review, you send your resume to us voluntarily via WhatsApp. We use it only to deliver the requested service, we do not share it with anyone, and we delete it after delivery. This service is separate from the free tool, which runs entirely in your browser.

7. Disclaimer

Smart ATS CV helps you format your resume in a way that is generally suitable for applicant tracking systems and compares your keywords with job descriptions. We do not guarantee that you will be hired or that every ATS will read your resume the same way, as each system works differently. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your resume.
